Ask a new question. I have recently discovered that I no longer see 4K content on Netflix fpr Edge. All content is restricted to HD. I have Edge Version However, the funny thing is that I can see 4K content in the Netflix Windows app but just not in the Edge edbe. I think some recent update broke this.
However, Intel Graphics Command Center tells a different story. I understand that you have encountered the problem that edge cannot play Netflix 4K video. Netflix 4K video playback requires the hardware acceleration function of edge to be turned on. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I have checked the 2 items you mentioned and they ror both enabled. I am still windosw to only HD content in Netflix using Edge. There may be compatibility issues currently. There is currently no better solution to this problem. You may need to neflix a cs4 64 bit for a while to watch 4K video.
These issues may be fixed in subsequent releases. I have found that it's the video driver updates that Microsoft is pushing out through Windows Updates that's breaking the Netflix 4K playback functionality in Edge. Please fix this!!!
May I know if Microsoft is working on a fix on this? Considering this situation, they advised that it would be best to contact Microsoft to check if they have a fix to this issue since both our devices netflix for windows 10 edge - netflix for windows 10 edge the wwindows behavior.

Netflix menus work just fine, but when I hit Play, the movie freezes on the first frame. Edge handles Amazon and Starz movies without a problem. And other browsers Firefox and Chrome play Netflix movies smoothly. The problem seems to have arrived when an update to Edge installed itself some time within the past few weeks. I see others have posted about the same or similar problem in recent years--does Microsoft have a fix in the works?

Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I tried following your advice and resetting Edge, but nothing changed. Moreover, the version that you suggested is the one that is already running on my machine. However, I had also reached out to the Lenovo community, and they pointed out an AMD driver released in mid that had to be manually updated on the machine. After doing so, Netflix seems to be now working well. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
